Bluetooth connection dropped

The bluetooth connection between my new MacBook and Bose mini speaker is dropped consistently after about 30 mins of playing Pandora. The two devices are close to each other in the room. I can see that Pandora continues to play but nothing is coming from the speaker. Help!!

Bluetooth audio not working (terrible quality) MacBook Pro (2017) connectivity issues with bluetooth audio devices. When my bluetooth headphones or speaker are connected to my macbook; more often than not the sound quality is terrible, totally distorted with 0 bass. Both the speaker and headphones work perfectly with my iPhone and friends apple and non apple products. Just seems to be my macbook bluetooth that has issues and cannot work out how to fix it. Any suggestions?? Have tried connecting, re-connecting, deleting the device and starting again and none of that works
