TOO MUCH SPACE TAKEN UP

Hi,

I have an iPhone 6s Plus, I was trying to clean up my storage... common struggle. I noticed that i am still using 9.7 GB of 16 GB. The further I investigated the more I noticed that the System files are taking up A LOT of memory. When i started cleaning my phone they only took up 7 GB (which is still a lot) and now I am up to 8.21 GB and the system file is continuing to grow in size... Please help, before my system file takes over my phone!!!

"Other System Data" crashing iPhone SE (1st gen) I have a 32 GB 1st Gen iPhone SE, and it has been running out of space, I've deleted pictures, videos, unused apps, old iMessage conversations, etc, but it just keeps filling the memory. At the bottom of iPhone storage management, I see that it is using 13.85 GB of the 32 GB for "Other System Data." What could this be and how can I get rid of it? The system files are using 5.42 GB (which also seems a little high). Any suggestions? TIA!

Large space taken up by system files My 2015 iPhone 6+ has almost 8GB out of 16GB taken up by System files—on my husbands 6+ iPhone it is 11.5GB out of 16 (the “grey matter “ to the right of the colored data in the iPhone storage bar). I am told by Apple support that these are mainly system files from older software that cannot be gotten rid of. Does anybody have suggestions on how to re-gain the storage capacity now blocked by the junk, please? Tx!
