When using the find my friends app do my friends get a notification when i check to see where they are at? Or can they set up alerts or notifications to see when i check where they are?

Ok thanks. I know i can set alerts to notify me when the get to a specific address or leave a specific place but you have to know the address to where they are going in order to get that alert when they arrive. Just wondered if they could set a notification if i check where they are.
No, there's no indication that they will know you have checked their location and there aren't any options to change that will alert them.
