The timer app on the watch (iOS 4.2.3 (15S600b) will not function at all. When the timer app. is opened and a native time (1 Min., 3 Mins., 5 Mins., etc.) is selected or a "custom" time is selected and start is depressed - nothing happens. The countdown will not begin. I've powered off/on and reset. It's as if the timer doesn't exist - completely non-functioning. Any ideas?

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the reply. I apologize as I wasn't clear regarding my actions. The commands won't respond regardless of whether I touch, tap or depress the button. I've also noticed some delays/issues with other apps starting. I'm wondering if this is a known issue with the new software, as previous to the newest iOS, none of these issues occured.

To start a timer within the Timer app, do not press down on the screen or aim to "depress" the button.
Instead, tap on your preferred preset time or, for a custom timer, on the Start button.
