Actiontec Adapter

I'm super interested in the ActionTec adapter (amazon) option. How would that work?

For context, I prefer to use my Netgear R8000 over the Fios G1100 because the Netgear has much better load balancing across ports and wireless devices.

I have the Fios Gigabit Internet and one main cable box on the primary TV. The rest of the TVs in the house are connected via wifi (through Plex/HDHomeRun Prime). I really dislike the EPG (TV guide interface) on Fios - so I opt for "Live TV" on the ShieldTV and Plex on the ancillary TVs.
