No map sounds over Honda SIrius radio

Until iOS 10 or 11, we were able to use Waze, Apple Maps, or Google map apps while listening to SIrius in our 2015 Honda CR-V. But since one of the upgrades, neither my wife’s iPhone nor my iPhone works that way with either of our vehicles. If we switch the radio to Bluetooth as the source, we get the turn by turn directions, but it no longer works over SIrius. We have changed no settings on our phone, and the cars’ software hasn’t been changed, so it points to a change in iOS. Help?

Carplay cuts out radio then does not go back When I have the radio (or sirius xm, whatever) playing and I'm using google maps through Carplay, and I have google maps running on an an iphone 6s, when the voice audio cuts in to give a direction, google maps app cuts in and lets me hear the direction, as I would expect. However, then it does not yield back the audio to the radio. I have to manually push the radio button to start hearing the "radio" again. Then next time there's a direction, Carplay correctly cuts in again, but then again I have to manually push the radio button again to hear it. This is an annoying bug and not at all the way I want it to work. I would really appreciate if they could fix this or if someone would give a simple solution. Thank you.

Carplay and Google Maps not playing navigation prompts I have a 2017 Honda CR-V EX-L with Apple Carplay with iphone X connected by USB cord and linked to Honda Link via bluetooth. Unfortunately in my car, bluetooth Apple Car play connection is not available. The apple car play for Apple Music/Reading Messages/Pandora/Siri all works very well. However, I have run into a problem with Google Maps navigation voice prompts. They will not play, while there is no problem showing the google maps navigation on the screen. I have tried all of the below: 1) restarting phone 2) repairing phone to car 3)Turning off bluetooth on my phone 4) Changing usb cords 5) Checking navigation volume in Car settings 6) Checking navigation volume in google maps settings 7) Changing USB ports 8)Changing source of audio into car to "Bluetooth" I know in my past other cars, the voice prompts would play over bluetooth, and if listening to Sirius or FM radio, I would not hear the prompts, but the way I got around this was switching the audio source to "Bluetooth" and I could hear the navigation prompts. (No radio, but could hear navigation.) Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

car radio overrides my bluetooth choice on iPhone Hi. I use bluetooth connection for handsfree communication in my car. I also connect a bluetooth headset for use when outside my car. What happens is that when I call, or recieve a call, I choose by which means I want to speak. I touch my ear to use headset, I pick up my phone and answer directly or touch car radio. However, the radio is dominant and overrides me if I choose to call, or respond, directly or by headset. The moment I get connected with the other caller, the radio takes over and I have to manually open speaker options an choose again. Very annoying! Deleting the radio bluetooth connection is not an option, as I also stream music and podcasts. Does anyone know how to resolve this? My software is updated and I have tested various devices, both v.4 and v.5 always with the same result. Looking forward to any respons.
