iPhone 4 not working

I don't know what to do I have and iPhone 4 that I just got and it would do a software update and won't let me download anything and if it dose it just goes straight out of the app what do I do ??

iPhone 6s software issues My iPhone randomly stopped working. It still has limited function however most apps will not work, I can not connect it to wifi or a hotspot in order to update it and when I try connect it to iTunes on my computer it says it can't because of an invalid response. Any ideas on what is wrong and how I can get it up and running again? Thanks:)
