Problems after upgrade

I am facing problems with battery and heating after upgrading to 10.13.3 supplemental update. I have not installed/upgraded any new apps since the update. The CPU load and memory usage are minimal.

MacBook Air, High Sierra 10.13.3

Please read See how apps affect Mac performance, battery runtime, temperature, and fan activity - Apple Support as well as all the links within it, which will eventually lead to resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac.
