Unable to log in to my MacBook Pro

I changed my Apple ID on my laptop & password. I even added that in my laptop setting. My laptop went to mode later. When I tried to log in again using Apple ID then I was unable. Plz help me

hey I have a Macbook Air 13 version macOS10.12.6 and Iam having trouble with not being able to login to my computer each time I input my login password it says it incorrect but it has to be the same as my Apple ID ...COULD someone please help me Hey I can't login into my MacBook everytime I enter my password it says incorrect and my password is my Apple ID password and if it isn't then how can I just reset my laptop to start off fresh cause that this point I'm just frustrated.

Cant login using my Apple id I need to log into my old MacBook Air. It cant recognize the password. I then tried to log in using my Apple id and that wont work either. I tried resetting my Apple id and using the new id but it still wont work. What do I do and how do I get access to my MacBook? hope to get help, thanks
