Question: High Sierra won't load on current v10.11.4

I'm currently using v10.11.4 on an older (2008) iMac and tried to install the new High Sierra v10.13 but got a notice that it wouldn't install on this iMac.. I've upgraded the mac and have enough ram and memory available, so why won't it load??

A 2008 iMac is not capable of running High Sierra no matter ho much RAM.
