Question: “Verification required” won’t stop!


Lately, I’ve been trying to update my apps and a message saying “verification required: tap continue and sign in to view billing information” (whereas the only option is “ok”). I’ve searched at the answered questions at your site and generally at the internet but I couldn’t find any help. The only solution I saw was to choose “none” at the paying methods instead of my credit card. However, I can’t do that because I am currently paying for 200GB iCloud storage each month.

So please let me know what I can do as soon as possible!

Specific instructions:

1. On your mobile device, open settings.

2. Open your AppleID by tapping on your name/picture.

3. Tap “Payment & Shipping”.

4. Re-enter your credit card’s expiration date & verification number.

This worked for me. If you use a payment mode other than credit card, you may need to re-enter other info.
