Grandfather forgot Apple ID and password recovery is going to take TWO WEEKS!?
I'm helping my grandfather gain access to his Apple ID so that he can install a heart monitoring app tied to a device his doctor recommended. This is very important so that he can monitor his heart due to some fluctuation in his rate.
At this point, due to him repeatedly trying to enter his password, his account is in Password Recovery. The process is now supposedly going to take TWO WEEKS!? I've called Apple Support and I've never experienced such useless customer service. There's nothing ANYONE can do to reset his password? How is this possible when even my bank allows for an automated password reset?
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
