My phone will not connect to iTunes

My iPhone 7 will not connect to iTunes. It is disabled but I do know the password

iPod touch, Windows Vista

Depending on what steps you may have gotten through, in the above linked Support article

your course of action may take another path. However, you've not indicated what you tried.


This article's long link failed for me; I chose to try a shorter version that has no region code.

And then posted that link below; it covers most aspects of what to do.

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
