Charging Dock

Thinking about getting a charging dock to go with my 7+, I know that Apple makes one but was wondering for those that have them are there other brands that you would recommend? I had one when I had my iPod touch 4th gen and loved it, it was a cheap one from a dollar store. Don't wanna risk it with my iPhone and actually want something nice that's going to hold up for a while and that's easily packable for taking on trips preferably.
