mailto: appears in excel

I use excel for mac 2008, and whenever I tab from other open programs, a mailto: and my gmail address appear in a grey/brown box on the sheet. It can't be clicked on or deleted and just sits there blocking out a small section of the sheet. If I tab to other programs, it disappears, so only shows in excel. If I tab to other worksheets it stays on the screen, so shows on every worksheet, but not any other programs.

Any ideas how to get rid of it ?

It allows me to tab, but I can't delete a message unless I select each message with the mouse. "All Inboxes" option disappeared in Mail on my Mac All of a sudden the All Inboxes option disappeared from mail on my Mac. Now I have to go to each mailbox separately to check mail. Why does the mail app opens unexpectedly while using other apps, for example the preview app On new iMac 27" with Mojave 10.14.5 Why does the mail app open unexpectedly while using other apps, for example the preview app? This has happened a few times now. I know that a little window opens in the top right corner of the screen when new mail, message, or calendar event arrives and I don't mind that but it is annoying when the mail app opens on top of the app I am using. Can change a setting to control that?
