My phone does not ring anymore for incoming calls. I have tried all areas an nothing

Since you don't give information about exactly what you've tried, any chance that you've overlooked the most basic possibility -- the ring/silent switch on the side of the phone? That is something that can get switched accidentally and is something that is easy to forget to check.

I think I am having the cancel ring problem as the other person that got your response. While I am a long time user of the mac and iPhone, I did not ever come across this thing of using the sound adjustment to silence period. How can I cancel the quiet? thanks

I was having the same issue and checked the ring volume, the silence switch on the side and if do-not-disturbe was turned on. None of those were the culprit. So I rebooted my iPhone and it seemed to clear up the issue. Perhaps that will work for you.

had same issue and additionally no ringing when incoming SMS WhatsApp Facetime etc. - (same issue in factory settings without back up and even Apple ID) - when i inserted my simcard in an other (also brand new) iPhone SE the same happened there after a few hours.

Getting me a new Simcard solved the issue !

Sorry for the delay but I have been down for the count for a month or so. Anyway I did switch the little itty bitty switch on the side and I had ring and also remembered doing it originally. I block all incoming calls that are trash calls etc. I let them ring and go to my message which informs them that their number will be blocked unless they leave a message explaining who they are. Over 300 now and counting. Thank goodness I have an iPhone that allows blocking in 3 seconds or less .. Anyway thank you all for your help.
