Macbook Stuck on white start screen

Hi all,

I’ve got a macbook pro, with High Sierra opetating system.

At the moment it’s stuck on the white screen when it starts up, with the loading bar full but it’s not doing anything.

I’ve tried almost everything that people have suggested online, i’ve run first aid, rebooted my PRAM settings and reinstalled OS X, which it downloaded for about an hour but am now back onto the same loading screen without it doing anything.

Is there anything else I can do or is all that is left for me to take it somewhere to have it recovered?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, have a lot of unbacked up files on there (my fault I know) and I could really do without forking our for a new laptop.
