How do I access iCloud on my iOS device? Is this My Drive?

iCloud is a collection of services.


How you access it depends on what you want to access exactly.


If you have made iCloud backups, those are just closed packages you can access when setting up a device after it has been wiped clean, or when setting up a new device.

You can access other content stored or synced to iCloud from Apps that store or sync data to iCloud.

As mentioned above, things like Photos, Contacts, Calendar entries etc... that are stored in iCloud can be accessed from the relevant Apps.


Files and documents stored in iCloud Drive can be accessed via the Files App on an iOS device, or the iCloud folder in Finder or Windows Explorer on a computer.

"My Drive" is a service from Google, so is not related to iCloud from Apple. Different companies.
