ICloud has a stored password that is no longer correct. How can I reset this? HighSierra

When I attempt to log onto iCloud the stored password is apparently incorrect. I then have to erase it and put in the correct password. Where is the "stored" password set.

IMAC (RETINA 5K, 27-INCH, LATE 2015), macOS High Sierra (10.13.3), Airport extreme

Hi

You are probably right, but as usual it is essential to know the proper name of the target. When I look in Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access/Passwords for all passwords associated with my Apple id I get a whole page. I have looked at several of these passwords, but they are all obviously generated by the OS. I haven't found any of the previous passwords I defined. How do I narrow the search?
