Syncing Photos with my iPhone 6+

I bought a new iPhone X November last year and gave my old iPhone 6+ to my wife. After reset the old iPhone, I synced the phone with iTune. Since I got a photo library of 30,000+ photo, it took sometime to transfer the library to the iPhone 6+, but, without enough patience, I quitted before the system finished. Since then, the Photo always showed that the iPhone was still syncing with my Mac, and NO new photos could be synced to the phone. At the moment, is there any means, apart from resetting the phone and do the sync all over again, to rectify it? Thanks

iPhone X, iOS 11.2.1
