Will this support OWC Thunderbolt 2 and Daisy Chained External Drives that are attached to the OWC dock with Thunderbolt 2 connections?

High Sierra has had some real issues in Thunderbolt 2 to wake and remount external drives connected through the dock after the laptop wakes from sleep.

Work around.

Wake computer from sleep.

Disconnect thunderbolt cable.

Reconnect thunderbolt cable.

Its a bit of nuisance, i just don't want to use this adapter (using a new macbook) and have even more problems than before with my 2011 macbook.
