I recently downloaded the high sierra update, but couldn't finish installing due to lack of space. I've created space and need to re-start the installation now. And have no idea how to do that without downloading it again...

If the installer "Install macOS High Sierra" is still in your Applications folder just double click it.
restart update after installation
