Hey there, mancris!

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I understand that you are having trouble using AirPrint from your iPad Pro and your iPhone 6s after updating both to iOS 11.2.6. I'd be happy to help!

Based on what you've described, I would recommend the following steps from If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device - Apple Support :

You might experience issues such as these when you try to print from your Mac or print from your iOS device:

  • You can't see your printer from your device, or you get a message that no printers were found.
  • You get a message that software for your device isn't available.
  • You have some other printing issue related to the software on your Mac or iOS device.

For help with an error light or other error condition on the printer itself, check the printer's documentation or contact its manufacturer.

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled for printing from your Mac or iOS device, just make sure that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network used by the Mac or iOS device.1

If you still can't print, try any of these solutions:

  • Restart your Wi-Fi router. Then restart your printer.
  • Move your printer closer to your Wi-Fi router.
  • Update your printer and Wi-Fi router with the latest firmware from the manufacturer.2
  • Update the software for your Mac or iOS device.

If you're using a Mac and you still can't print, it might help to reset the printing system. Otherwise, contact the printer manufacturer for support.

Have a great day!

Thanks for the answer, but that's not the problem.

iphone and ipad devices see the printer and print ok, airprint works. Just in Pages when printing, the printed image appears as a label, although I have set from the application to print A4. I mention that in all other applications it prints correctly.

I have an Ipad 3 with IOS 9 and that does not have this problem, the problem is Ipad pro and Iphone that have IOS 11.2.6.

Thanks for the follow up, mancris,

While the issue laid out in the previous reply may not match your issue precisely, the steps are still valid to take, particularly updating your printer's firmware. It is quite possible that the currently installed printer firmware may be older than is required for iOS 11.2.6 to function as you are expecting (even if AirPrint does work in some scenarios on those devices). The fact that it works as expected on a device with an older iOS version, but does not work on two separate devices in iOS 11.2.6, indicates to me this is likely the issue.

You can check with HP directly to find out if there are any firmware updates for your printer model: HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware | HP® Customer Support .

If you successfully update the printer firmware and are still having trouble, please reach out to Apple Support directly here: Contact Apple Support .

Cheers.
