Is there a way to filter/prevent MIDI control change in GarageBand?

Hello. My keyboard controller is getting on in years (GEM Promega 3) and has begun sending random volume change messages to garageband as I record. Any way of disabling incoming cc#’s?

thanks in advance,

sue

Solved.

After downloading MidiMonitor, I could see that all the problems I was experiencing while recording (mod wheel, pitch wheel and volume fluctuations) were confined to midi channel 1. So I switched to channel 2. Very glad that's an easy thing to do on this keyboard (GEM Promega3).
