So, I wanted to connect my Mac keyboard to my PS4 so I turned off the Bluetooth on my Mac so it could connect to the PS4. I wanted to reconnect it to my Mac today and it can’t because I can’t type the password. I can’t type the password because the keyboard won’t connect because the Bluetooth isn’t on. I really do not want to buy another keyboard.
Try resetting the SMC on the Mac.
Incidentally, a BT device may only be connected to one thing at a time.

The Bluetooth is turned on so nothing can connect and 2nd how do you reset the SMC without being logged in.
Read the Apple guidance on resetting the SMC. No Peripherals are required.
