Well I have my iPhone 8 Plus and it just keep disconnecting from WiFi after lock and let it sleep
Can I know how to make it stay connect even when I am not using it ? Cause it won’t auto update my app when I go out I have no app to use cause its still in update progress sometime

That's exactly what it's supposed to do. The WiFi radio will power down when the phone is in standby. If it didn't, you would burn through your battery life in no time.
If you want/need it to stay connected to WiFi when in standby, you will have to connect it to a power source.

I would make sure you wifi is on. press the app to pause the download and then resume it. If that doesnt work, I have just deleted the app and then redownloaded it.
I see but I when I charged it over night the phone still does the same and not updating my app
