purchased movie doesn't show on Apple TV but appears on iTunes account

hi, I have a movie dowloaded/ purchased with my Apple ID. I can see it on my iTunes account on Mac, but when I want to watch it on Apple TV, it doesn't show there in 'purchased' section. I have the old version of Apple TV (not sure which one is it... one with silver remote 😉 ) Any tips?

I've bought a TV series from iTunes from my MacBook. Can't see it in "purchases" on my Apple TV I've just bought a TV series on iTunes from my MacBook. I assumed it would appear in my "purchases" on my Apple TV (4K). It hasn't. Anyone have any advice? I really don't want to use Airplay to pipe it through from my MacBook to the Apple TV. Apple TV purchased movies missing Recently, all my purchased movies disappeared from Apple TV. Now, if I want to watch one of them I have to go through the process of purchasing it again and then it says I already have it do I want to download it and then sometimes I can watch it and sometimes I cannot. Does anybody have this problem? Are using a 4K TV on the latest software. None of my movies except for the last nine show up on any of my other devices either

Movie purchase I just purchased Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie on my iPhone for my son. However he can’t watch it on his smart tv. That was the whole reason for me purchasing the movie. It just doesn’t show up in the movie catalog in the Apple TV app on his smart tv. Why is that?
