We have a Mac on which we just restored Sierra OS to have Safari 10 installed for testing purposes. The problem is that its automatically upgrading Safari to version 11, even though I've disabled the automatic updates in Preferences.
Is there a way to prevent Safari 10 from automatically upgrading to Safari 11?

As a test, try unchecking Automatically check for updates.
