Apple Hotspot Disconnect Issue

Why doesn’t Apple resolve the long know issue of hotspots disconnecting automatically? This is a huge annoyance for everyone that uses the hotspot feature when you constantly have to reconnect devices every time it disconnects due to a few minutes of non-use. This has been a long term issue and Apple needs to resolve it through an update. Or more people will continue to switch to Android devices which do not have this annoying feature.
