iPhone locked during restore backup
just got a new phone
and won't back up from my iTunes and phone is locked
A new phone should not be locked.
You should be able to restore from the back up of your previous device if you had one, though you need to make sure that new device is running the same version of iOS or better than the one you are restoring from.
