IOS app automatic update on iPad not working, and hasn't worked for 9 months.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12)
Reboot your device.
Sign out of the store, then sign in again.
Turn off the option for automatic updates, then turn it on again.
Make sure that it charges somewhere it has a decent Wi-Fi connection.
