I'm trying to send a text message to 11 people. It do not send.

I'm trying to send a text message to 11 people. It do not send. I get a message that reads "Message needs to be enabled to send this message." My question is how do I enable my message?

Not 'message' but rather 'Messages'. In order to enable Messages, tap the grey Settings icon on your home screen. Scroll down to Messages. Tap it. Slide the slide to the on (green) position.
