Ipad Air Dead Battery and Temperature Message

The battery on my ipad air died. I took it to a repair shop to get the battery replaced, they put it on some type of device to test it they said it could be the battery but it also showed another issued. So I had the battery replaced and now it powers up but it has this temperature message. I can not get out of it. I tried a hard reset and nothing. Has anyone else had this issue?
