Using Key Modifiers with Magic Keypad?

I recently got a magic keypad so I could easily use shortcuts in ProTools that specifically require the keypad. However, I quickly discovered that my laptop's key modifiers do not work in conjunction with the keypad keys (i.e. pressing Command+Keypad1 only registers as Keypad1). This renders most of the shortcuts useless 😟

Is there any sort of solution or a workaround? One Ideas I had was to reprogram the page-up and page-down, home and end keys on the keypad to correspond with the different key modifiers, but I haven't found a way to do this.

Not being able to use all of the shortcuts is really holding me back
