Woe is my AppleTV!

I have the 4th gen appleTV and love it, not had any problems but recently when I want to go back to my home screen I can’t.

I press the button that takes you back, the one with the picture of a TV screen on it and it takes me to some weird app that shows me things I don’t want to watch.

I just want my amazing Apple TV experience back!

I have had a look in settings to turn it off and can’t figure it out. What has happened? How do I fix this?

That is the TV app, which is automatically linked to the home button. You just need to go into settings - remote and switch the preference for the home button back to home screen
