Installation failed 301003

Hi there,

I’ve just bought a HomePod at the 5th Avenue store. Back at my hotel I’ve tried to setup the Honepod with my IPhone X. Latest OS. I’ve got fast and stable WiFi on the room. Unfortunately the installation failed, I get code 301003 for two times in a row. What’s wrong??

Hotel Wi-Fi services usually involve some sort of sign on screen where you acknowledge any terms and conditions. HomePod isn't designed to interact with those. In addition the hotel is likely to use client isolation, which will let each device through to the internet, but will hide each device from all others.
