Noticed an increase of phishing attempts

Just wanted to say that I’ve been getting a lot of phishing emails within the last couple of days about suspicious Apple ID or iTunes account activities. Most just started right before equifax announced another 2.3 million accounts compromised. Just today 3/1/18 I received 15 emails all with the same heading but coming from different email address that are not from Apple. Funny thing is that the emails that I’m getting are not even associated with my Apple ID account or even the email account tied with my Apple account. I use one email account just for Apple and nothing else gets sent to that email account. One email says that my Apple ID “such and such” has been suspended and it’s not even anywhere close to being my Apple ID. These crooks can try but they aren’t fooling me.
