Will the Homepod and Apple TV play at the same time?
I’m just trying to figure out if the Apple TV and HomePod will play music at the same time. Or if while watching something on the Apple TV If I could stream audio from the TV and from the HomePod.
If you're trying to use Apple Music without a family plan, then you may find that trying to play Apple Music independently from the two devices at the same won't work, but if one is playing purchases or content from an iTunes library then it ought to be OK. iTunes can AirPlay to both Apple TV and HomePod at the same time.
