Getting a popsocket to stick to a silicone case

I have read that heaps of people have been able to get a popsocket to stick to their apple silicone case but I can't get it to stick to mine. I've tried holding it in place for a long time and I've tried using the apple stickers to get it to stick as well but neither option has worked.

I was wondering if you have been able to get a popsocket to stick, how did you do it?

Magsafe Popsocket affecting camera or speakers? I bought one of those magsafe pop sockets that attached to the back of the apple iPhone 12 pro cases. I noticed that it magnetically attaches to the bottom of the phone (I think its the speaker and haptic engine). Sometimes it doesn't attach fully and it falls lose in my pocket and will stick to the speakers on the bottom of the phone, or to the back camera. Does this damage the speaker or camera/flash at all?
