Can i delete imessages that are on an iphone from a computer?

I need to delete some imessages from my iPhone. Is it possible to do this from a computer rather than deleting it off of the phone directly?

You must delete them from the phone. Messages doesn't sync like IMAP e-mail accounts. They need to be deleted off each device/computer.
