Ringtones and Contacts phone number gone after update?

Just had to do the latest update11.2.6, and when completed, I had no ringtones, other than the ones on the phone originally, and a lot of my phone contacts have vanished as well?

Why does this keep happening after updates to the IOS, and more importantly, how do I get them all back?

I have done a restore from the icloud, but that did not do anything at all except make it worse, after going back to factory settings??

This is getting to be a problem and a half for me, and I have also tried to restore from backup on icloud, and on the pc, but nothing changes??

Can anyone help please as I'm getting so confused now with this happening all the time there is a software update, and no matter what I do, I cannot seem to get it back to the way I had it before the updates.
