iMessage not working after 11.2.6

ipad mini. Updated to 11.2.6. iMessage is not sending or receiving. I’ve checked with other members of the chat, I’m not seeing posts. All members are using iMessag. This is done over WiFi not sms/mms. I’m signed into the iPad with my iCloud account, and signed into iMessage. Tried signing out, restarting. Everything works, 11.2.6 happens, iMessage is broken. Any ideas?
