Can someone explain why Barbados isn't allowed to purchase movies from iTunes?

We are just other users like you and don't know except what we can read on Apple's web site. I could guess at half a dozen reasons to do with international corporate dealings, country specific tax and trade laws, and copyright laws but those are just guesses. Since Apple is in this to make money I suspect if they could sell the movies they would.
