YouTube keeps playing after I answer the phone

Hi,

My iPhone continues to play YouTube audio if I get a call while a video is playing. This is completely unacceptable as i do a lot of work from my cell phone and it doesn’t appear professional at all, especially if I was listening to loud music prior to answering the call.

I’d like YouTube to pause when I answer the phone, like it used to on my iPhone 6. I’ve had this problem since upgrading to my 8.

It's my understanding that YouTube keeps playing in the background whenever you accept a phone call. I completely agree with you on this and I do have a suggestion that may help. Check out this article which isn't the issue you're having but the steps may help resolve this: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

I would also make sure to check to see if this happens with any other apps.
