Unable to update project i used i few moths ago

This is ridiculous .... i have to do all this to update projects i used a few months ago ! I lost already so much time trying to work with projects i just used short ago ... SORRY BUT YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THIS. I demand a quick solution here !!!

These are recent project which cant be opened any more and you cannot force users to go through this process.... Really ridiculous!

Since updating to 16.1 my old projects will not play in the viewer Since updating to 16.1 my old projects will not play in the viewer. I can see the project edited in the time line but the viewer shows a missing files graphic. How do I reattach the file? Also I needed some extra storage so I consolidated that event and deleted render files. Maybe thats what made it stop playing? Any help greatly appreciated. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

unable to open project Hi! I have I project I have been working on for a while, but all the sudden I can't open it anymore. The library is there, intact, but when I try to open this specific project into the timeline, FCX shuts down. It doesn't happen that with different projects, but it happens with all versions of this project (the backup I had in another HD and different automatic backup versions). I can't even imagine what can cause that. Does anyone can help me? Thank you very much!
