Photos on Mac is unable to see new photo's from my iPhone
Since a few months Photos on Mac is unable to see all my new photo's from my iPhone device when I connect with USB. He always show the same 18 video's and images.
Best guess given no details -- you have iCloud Photo Library enabled on your phone and when you do you can not manually import - you either use ICPL on the Phone and Mac to sync or you do use it on the phone and you manually import your photos
