Export vs Bounce ( last Update!)

I have noticed that to export your mastered WAV through the 'export audio' function, the plugins need to be inserted on the audio track channel strip, as 'Cuahtemoc' pointed out to my question, and not on the main stereo out.

The other update is the following:

When comparing the bounced version and the exported audio version, I noticed that the exported audio version is higher in Megabytes, while the bounced version shows less.

Could this confirm that the audio quality of the 'exported audio' one, is much better and higher in quality?

Any reflections appreciated as if this is the case, I would prefer to use the exported audio function, for a raw no additives export as much as possible! Best / Brian
