Installing Yosemite fails

I am trying to install Yosemite on a MBP 17" from 2010.

I have erased the harddisc and and tried to install via wifi. The installer says that it can't approve the installation and I should try again – I have tried many time over 24 hours, and always the same.

The I have created a bootable USB installer, and now it says that the installer can't be checked and it might be broken og damaged. I then made a new USB, but still the same...

What should I do? Please help!

Install Yosemite with bootable USB My macbook model a-1278 crashed while re-installing Yosemite. Since then the macbook opens on Disk Utility with only the tab and spacebars working. I created a bootable Usb and onwce I teach the page to install on the hard drive, it cannot be selected to install. has anyone ever encounter this isuue and how did you solve the issue.

Trying to Install OS X Yosemite after Disk Erase I have an old Macbook Pro (2009) which I was running OS X Yosemite on. I did an erase of the Macintosh HD Disk in the Disk Utilities based on some advice on this forum. Now I am trying to reinstall the OS X Yosemite software post-erase and it will not even start the process. The Disk Utility prompts that it will verify my computers eligibility with Apple from there I get an error screen stating "An error occurred while preparing the installation. Try running this application again." I have turned it off and on a few times, to no avail. I do not currently have any original Snow Leopard software discs that I can use to do a software install that way. Is there a way around this?
