EE apple music not working

Hello I'm with EE and they sent me a link to redeem six months free apple music, I have an android so I downloaded the apple music app and click on the verify link which led me to app but nothing happened. I signed in with my apple Id and tried again and nothing happened. It seemed to load on the pink and blue screen for a minute then asked me for permission to send texts and make calls which I allowed, then nothing else happened. Do you have any suggestions on what to do because it just shows the home screen in the app
