fcp studio 3 on el capitan issue

On a mid 2010 macbook pro. Hard drive failed. Now replaced. Had a copy of FCP studio 3 on external drive. Finally made a bootable El Capitan 10.11.6 usb drive. Copied FCP studio 3 back onto newly restored macbook pro. Sadly none of it will open. What to do? Any ideas? I really need to get it back up and running.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), 17inch

Pretty tricky to copy over ,as there are linked files that have to be in the right place.

Install from the original DVD discs if you have them.

You may not get the whole suite to work on El Capitan.

FCP7 and Compressor may work for you, but I believe Motion is a no no.
